We want your child's visit to our practice to be a pleasant experience so that they look forward to coming here! We practice pediatric dentistry with a gentle and caring touch! Our facility is extremely clean, our rates are very affordable and we accept most insurance, Medicaid, CHIP and have flexible payment options to fit ANY budget! Dr. Tyrone Rodriguez
Tyrone F. Rodriguez, DDS, FACD, FPFA, FAAPD, FICD is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist that is part of our Team at Kids Smile Pediatric Dentistry. We are excited at having him bring his diverse background from Academic, Research. Private Practice, Organized Dentistry and Dental Public Health. He has served in national and international roles in helping educate and care for children. He is the former program Director at Yale for Pediatric Dentistry and part of their Craniofacial Team. He has attended Brown University, Rice University, University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston and is a graduate of Pediatric Dentistry Program from here in San Antonio's Health Science Center in 2006.
He served as National President for the Hispanic Dental Association and has spoken in the White House for the Affordable Care Act advocating for Oral Health. He is also a spokesperson for the American Dental Association and corporate product advisor for dental industry. He has four children and enjoys volunteering. Bible reading, world travel, gourmet cooking, music appreciation, salsa dancing and Saturday morning cartoons.
